Spokane Chiefs
These rare pro-weight jerseys (with fight straps) were worn by players from the Western Hockey League's Spokane Chiefs during the 1996/97 season. Spokane jerseys are perhaps the most difficult Major Junior jerseys to obtain.
The jerseys feature an embroidered Chiefs logo sewn on to the front. Two-color tackle twill letters are sewn on to sleeves and the back of the jerseys. The players' names are sewn on to nameplates in single color tackle twill letters. The CCM logo is sewn on to the back right hem and the CHL logo is sewn on to the back left hem.
As was customary, the Chiefs removed the original nameplates from the jerseys so that they could be used in the following pre-season (The same is true for the captain's "C" and alternate captain's "A's"). The Chiefs have supplied new nameplates (and "C" or "A" where applicable) that were made to the original specifications and supplied by the team. The nameplates are not attached to the jerseys (nor are the "C's" and "A's"), but could easily be re-attached by someone who knows how to operate a sewing machine.
Each jersey purchased will be accompanied by a 1996-97 team roster on Spokane Chiefs letterhead.
This is the first time that game-worn Spokane Chiefs jerseys have ever been available to the general public. They are sure to go fast. Click on the "Place An Order" button above to buy your Spokane Chiefs jersey today.
