Slovakia

This beautiful Team Slovakia jersey comes to us from the personal collection of a prominent European-based
member of the international hockey community.

The pro-weight jersey (with fight strap) was made by Nike.  It is part of the set that the IIHF issued to Team
Slovakia for use in the 1996 World Championships, which were held in Vienna.  This particular jersey was
issued to forward Miroslav Satan, who has played in the NHL for the Oilers, Islanders, Sabres and Penguins.

The jersey is a size 56. The jersey does not display any wear, as it was not worn.

The "Slovakia" logo and crest are sublimated on to the front of the jersey, as is the Slovakian Ice Hockey
Federation logo on the right shoulder.  This was the last time that "Slovakia" appeared on the front of the
team's jerseys, as "Slovakia" was covered up with a "Slovensko" patch on the jerseys worn later that year in
the 1996 World Cup.

The numbers are sewn on to the back of the jersey and both sleeves.  The letters in the player's name are
sewn on to a nameplate, which is sewn on to the back of the jersey above the number.
