Shawinigan Cataractes
These beautiful gold pro-weight knit jerseys (with fight straps) were worn by players from the Quebec Major
Junior Hockey League's Shawinigan Cataractes during the 2008/09.
Made by Reebok, these jerseys have the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (LHMQ) logo sewn on to the
right front and the CHL logo sewn on to the left rear hem. The Reebok logo is sewn on to the left front of the
jerseys and on to the back of the jerseys beneath the neck.
The jerseys feature the amazing Cataractes Indian logo sewn on to the front. The team's secondary is sewn on
to both shoulders. A 2009 Memorial Cup patch is sewn on to the right front of each jersey, unless otherwise
noted below.
Three-color tackle twill letters are sewn on to sleeves and the back of the jerseys. The players' names are
sewn on to nameplates in tackle twill letters. The nameplates are not attached to the jerseys. They were
removed by the team, as the jerseys were used in the 2009/10 training camp. The nameplates are the same
nameplates that were originally used on the jerseys.
These jerseys are quite rare. They are a one year style that was only worn in the 2008/09 season, as all of the
CHL teams began using Reebok Edge jerseys in the 2009/10 season.
