Romania
These beautiful jerseys were worn by players from the Romanian national team, Under 20 team, or Under 18
team from the late 1990s through the mid to late 2000s.
The blue and gold Nike jerseys were worn in the late 1990s. The Nike jerseys have a sewn-on crest on the
front and numbers that are heat-pressed to the back of the jersey and the sleeves.
In the early 2000s, the team wore blue and gold jerseys made by SP. The SP jerseys are similar to the Nike
jerseys. In fact, SP actually made the jerseys that were branded with the Nike logo in the mid to late 1990s. The
SP jerseys feature a sewn-on crest, heat-pressed numbers, and an IIHF patch sewn on the rear hem.
In the early to mid 2000s, Romania changed to red and gold "lightning bolt style" jerseys made by Tackla. In the
mid to late 2000s. Romania switched to the "shield style" jerseys with the eagle logo on the front made by
Tackla. The Tackla jerseys feature a sublimated crest on the front, sublimated numbers on the back and both
sleeves, and an IIHF logo sublimated on to the back hem.
