Finland
This beautiful Team Finland jersey comes to us from the personal collection of a prominent European-based
member of the international hockey community.
The pro-weight jersey (with fight strap) was made by Nike. It is part of the set that the IIHF issued to Team
Finland for use in the 2005 World Championships, which were held in Vienna. This particular jersey was issued
to forward Niko Kapanen, who has played in the NHL for the Dallas Stars, Atlanta Thrashers and Phoenix
Coyotes.
The jersey is a size 56 and features a tie neck. The jersey does not display any wear, as it was not worn.
The Finland logo and "Suomi" are sewn on to the front of the jersey.
The numbers are sewn on to the back of the jersey and both sleeves. The letters in the player's name are
sewn on to a nameplate, which is sewn on to the back of the jersey above the number.
The jersey also features Finnair sponsor's patches sewn on to both sleeves and the IIHF patch sewn on to the
lower right back hem.
