Canada - 2008 World Championships

These beautiful white pro-weight vintage-style jerseys (with fight straps) were made to be worn by players from
Canada's 1976 Canada Cup winning team when they were honored during the IIHF's 2008 World Championships
held in Halifax and Quebec City, Canada, from May 2-18, 2008.  Team Canada 1976 is widely considered to be
one of the best teams ever assembled.

Made by Nike, the jerseys feature the half-leaf Canada logo worn during the five Canada Cup tournaments.
Like the original Canada Cup jerseys, the logo is screened on to the front of the jerseys.  The numbers are
sewn on the sleeves and back of the jerseys.  The players' names are sewn on to nameplates, which are sewn
on to the jerseys.   The jerseys also feature the IIHF 100th Anniversary patch and a "1976" sewn on to the back
hem.

All of the jerseys come with a Letter of Authenticity from Hockey Canada.

Canada - 2006 World junior Championships

The 2006 World Junior Championships in Vancouver marked the first time in which the Nike Swift jersey was
used by Team Canada. At the time, it wasn't known if the players would like the new jerseys, so a secondary set
of jerseys was prepared just in case.

Made by Nike, these game-issued jerseys are from that secondary set. They LOOK like the Nike swift jersey, but
they are made of the normal heavier AirKnit mesh material and are also normal sizes (54, 56 etc), not tighter
fitting like the swift jerseys.

This set of jerseys was prepared PRIOR to the actual tournament.  As a result, some of the jersey numbers DO
NOT match up with the number actually worn by the player in the tournament.

The jerseys feature an embroidered 2006 WJHC Vancouver patch on the upper left front. They all have fight
straps. The letters in the players' names are made of twill material and heat pressed to a matching nameplate
which is sewn to the jersey. The numbers are all two color "Kiss Cut" style and sewn on. There is a Nike bar
code in side the lower hem of each jersey.

Each jersey includes a Letter of Authenticity from Hockey Canada.
