WORLD HOCKEY JERSEYS
The #1 source for game-worn jerseys from the national teams of the IIHF
World Hockey Jerseys

World Hockey Jerseys is owned and operated by Nicholas Viris and Michael Grueber, who have more than 55
years of combined experience in the hockey collectibles industry and game-worn hockey jersey market.

Possessing a unique combination of knowledge and experience in the business, legal and information
technology fields, Viris and Grueber share a passion for international hockey.

The two have been directly involved in the sport of hockey and have a wealth of experience in marketing and
selling game-worn jerseys from the coolest sport on earth.
Nicholas Viris, CEO

Nicholas Viris is a Toronto native currently residing in Greece, where he serves as CEO of World Hockey
Jerseys.  He has been a collector of game-worn hockey jerseys for more than 25 years.

Viris is an industry pioneer who worked as a volunteer assistant trainer and coordinator of game-worn jersey
sales for Team Canada from 1992-2000.  Viris' efforts helped Hockey Canada realize how the sale of game-worn
jerseys could assist in funding grass-roots hockey and the country's national teams.

As a result of his association with Team Canada, Viris developed solid references from those that he worked
with at Hockey Canada including Ron Robison, Bob Nicolson, Tom Renney, Dany Dube, Denis Hainault and Troy
Parchman.  In addition, Viris can also offer references from Phil Pritchard and Craig Campbell from the Hockey
Hall of Fame.
Michael Grueber, President

Michael Grueber is a Detroit native who currently resides in the United States, where he serves as President
of World Hockey Jerseys.  Grueber is an entrepreneur with more than 20 years experience working for
multi-national corporations and successful start-up companies in the business, legal, and information
technology fields.

He has collected game-worn hockey jerseys for more than 30 years and is a long-time fan of Soviet/Russian
hockey.  Grueber is proud to be the owner of the largest private collection of game-worn Soviet/Russian and
other international hockey jerseys.  Several articles related to his collection have appeared in Sports
Collector's Digest and Canadian Sports Collector magazines.

Grueber is still actively seeking to add to his collection of game-worn jerseys.  The three holy grails at the top
of his want list are Paul Henderson's white Canada jersey from the 1972 Summit Series, Valeri Kharlamov's red
Soviet jersey from the 1972 Summit Series, and Mike Eruzione's white USA jersey from the 1980 Olympics.

In addition to collecting game-worn hockey jerseys, Grueber also collects gold, silver, and bronze winner's
medals from the Olympics and IIHF World Championships that were awarded to members of the Soviet/Russian
hockey team

Over the years, Grueber has successfully marketed and sold large collections of jerseys from the New York
Islanders (NHL) and several teams in the North American Soccer League (NASL).
